Have just downloaded this programme and I think its fantastic. It is a screen capture tool and enables me to capture and save to QuickTime whatever I am doing on screen. This is great for mt students as now I have a small clip on each desktop with the reminder for using iMovie...saves my voice repeating over and over. Also great for taking a short clip from DVDs and saving as a QT clip or even for iMovie import

It's a lot better than it was a few years ago that's for sure.

It's great for capturing stuff for showreels and training/educational projects, but a few years ago it was soooooooo slow that you either had to up the tempo in After Effects afterwards to gain the required speed and smoothness or ignore it completely and output directly to DigiBeta!

yep, this is definitely a great mac app - and it is fairly famous too.

in my old school we used to have this installed on every mac - although i'm not sure what for - students never used i much.

long live snapz pro x! :)
