HI, have macbook (that I love). Had to walk to work and it was in my computer bag with wheels. Walked over some cobble stone streets....was careful not to bounce it or be rough BUT now when I use the wifi at the apartment I am renting (short term rental) the mac works great for a short time then gets slow then nada!
I switch to another open wifi and sometimes it works for a bit then slow and nothing. I've rebooted, taken out the battery and same thing. When it works it is very fast. I fooled around with settings and maybe did something to mess it up. Should PPoE be enabled? I'm really a novice at all of this and it's driving me up the wall. Any help appreciated. (i've cleared cache, reset safari, used Firefox...all the same)
