Thats good to hear because im just around 5'11" :)

I have been looking at the fuji x10 vs the 5n for a while but ended up going with the 5n because I never found anywhere to try the x10 out. Now that I have the option again to get any camera I like I was wondering if the X10 is good enough to be my only camera? Or should I sick with the 5n seeing how the price is even better now (400 body only)?

Also if I do go with the Nex again I would be interested to buy your 50mm, would you be willing to go for 185 + shipping?

I actually haven't ever shot a NEX outside of a friend's for a few days. It wasn't super comfortable in my hands - but it was undeniably a great camera that could produce amazing pictures, especially for the price and size.

How tall are you? I did the longest strap option and it's just right - but I'm 6'2". If you're under 5'11", I'd imagine you'll be okay :)

Just fyi, I have a 50mm 1.8 emount I'm looking to offload. I'd do $200 + shipping/fees on it, if you're interested. Basically new, with box and hood. I just happened to obtain one while flipping equipment.

      All the best,
      Matthew

Hey thanks for the reply, I went with the gordy neck strap(I hope 37in is going to be long enough). The 5N just went down another 100 dollars but amazon is making me return it and buy another one to get the discount (makes no sense). But I figured I would take this chance to get a different lens then the kit lens and I was wondering if you had the chance to use or have any impressions on the sony 50mm 1.8 E-mount?

      Hi Miura!

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you; I completely forgot you sent this message - as I originally viewed it on my phone while out and about.

The Gordy straps are phenomenal. Well-built, strong and made-to-last, they look nice, they're relatively unique, they're relatively affordable, and the guy who makes them is a real class-act with great customer service. Honestly, for small-format cameras, I can't really recommend anything else.

I chose a neck strap as I travel a whole lot; and when boarding planes or wandering around a strange town, it's easier to be able to "shoulder-holster" it and forget it.

      Best,
      Matthew

      Hey man,

I just purchased a Sony Nex-5n and I was looking into Gordy camera neck and wrist straps. This is my first real camera and I remember seeing that you just purchased a gordy neck strap and was wondering how you like it and why you got it over the wrist strap.

      Thanks in advance.
