The last thread looking at LCD arms for the iMac G5 was back in Sept. I have had my 20" iMac for about a week now (love it!) and my VESA adaptor shipped yesterday. I was hoping by now to see a slew (well at least a few) 3rd party lcd arms that complement the iMac. I would like to put this computer in a living room, so asthetics are important.

Sites I have looked at:
http://www.lcdarms.com/
http://www.ergotron.com/
http://www.ergomart.com/
http://www.marathoncomputer.com/pixarm.html
http://www.cbsproducts.co.uk/products/index_wishbone_r.html

Ergotron has a nice arm (I think it is the one Apple uses in its ads), but it is not rated to handle the weight of the 20" iMac. The pixarm looks not too bad too. But none of these seems to match the minimalist styling and clean lines of the iMac.

Does anyone have knowledge or 1st hand experience? Perhaps I just need to wait a little longer....

I too am very interested in this topic. I have been keeping my eye on this ever since I got my iMac G5 in October. It really does seem that most of the 'better looking' arms do not support the weight/2" size of the iMac G5. It would be nice if someone would develop an iMac G5 specific arm. Surely with all of the 3rd party companies that make things for Apple we can get a beautiful arm to match it.
