Our first-gen AppleTV has lots of content on it that we don't really want to transfer back to our Mac, so hence rather than syncing our Mac with the ATV, we stream from the Mac to the TV.
The problem this has created is that we rented a movie on the Mac, and I can't seem to find a way to get it over to the AppleTV.
Is there a way to do this without copying all of the shows off of the AppleTV back to the Mac? Is there any way to move it without having the Mac and the TV synced? Would there be an easy workaround with a 2nd gen AppleTV (as they don't really have any storage)?
