The DSL inet speed on my Quicksilver G4 has been getting slower and slower until it is painful to use. I've been assuming it was our cheesy small town ISP but I recently tried an intel iMac on my connection and it was lightyears faster.
I know everyone is going to say its just my slow, old G4, but it has not always been this slow, and 800 mhz ought to be fast enough to keep up with a 1.5mbps DSL service. I did a free trial a while back of their 3mbps service, and could not measure any increase in speed so that doesn't seem to be the problem
Any ideas what I can do to speed it up?
