Looking for a reality check here guys and gals....

13" MBA is the topic, i5 4GB/128GB should be fine for my needs.
iMovie / Apeture / parallels

BUT....

I cant help but wonder how much better the 1.8Ghz i7 would be.

Is this the snob in me wanting the best available, or is the processing power vastly superior.

Although geekbench is showing a performance difference, i have yet to see anyone use a Mac in the same way that Geekbench measures its stats.

There is a piece of me trying to justify the larger SSD and upgrade the 13" base to 256GB and then it is a fairly short hop to the i7.

It is working out about £300 difference between base model 13" and ultimate.

Please help me put my mind at ease......
It's not easy getting buyers remorse BEFORE the purchase..!

I bought the i7. But many people are saying the i5 are good. I'm debating if I paid for something I won't use.

I got a 13in i7 as well. I'm worried about the reports of poor battery life on the i7 and fantastic (8+) hours on the i5. Anybody have any positive reports on the i7 for me (and others)?
