Move apps from one screen to another?

Is there a way to do that on theiPad itself? I can rearrange apps on their current screen, and put them in folders etc., but can't seem to move the, between screens (aside from dong it through ITunes when docked to my iMac).

I like to move the icons onto the dock at the bottom of the screen first and then swipe to the new screen and move them up. You can just move them to the side of the screen and hold until the screen moves by it's self.
