im using a macbook 2008 13 inch display, and wanted to configure the screen to work on a 20 inch monitor so i went out and bought dvi to hdmi cable, i can get the picture to display on the tv but all the proportions are messed up i have tried altering the display configurations without success as i cant even see my dock, at all! wandering if im missing something obvious here i prosumed it would configure automatically. just wishful thinking i guess.
