Osx wont boot, but xp will

Gday all,

Have a macbook running bootcamp, xp on the second partion.

Osx will not boot, xp's ok however.

The build cd works ok, but it will not let me do a rebuild on the osx partion. All it does is sit there 'examining the disks' and will not build.

Very annoying...a mac that will only boot windows!

Any ideas?
