Macman45 macrumors G5 Nov 19, 2012 #3 Gone. My 17" MBP has one, but the new Retina models are as the OP says, too thin to incorporate one, and why waste battery power on a light when you have a percentage meter as well as the Magsafe Red / Green lights?
