App Store update not working

Anyone having this issue? Where i try to update an app and all it does is show the loading status for a second and then the bar goes away without updating the app! It does it no matter how many time i try to update the app either on my iphone or ipad

It's a right pain. I have now removed the apps that were not successfully updating, but I cannot reinstall any apps I have previously installed. I can install new apps though, which is very strange. No apparent fix, certainly that I can find. I may have to go and see a genius, but all they will do is wipe it and start again.
