Unlike the Mini where I can hold it in one hand by the fingertips, I have my full thumb resting on the side bezel when holding it with one hand. Very little of my finger touches the screen on the Mini, but on my 2, too much of the screen would be covered and I'd have to move my hand to tap on parts of the screen.
Ummmmm it looks like nothing changed at all case wise. A more accurate drawing would have been trimming the bezel on the sides like the mini. You can't really say its a larger mini of you didn't trim the sides of the bezel a bit.
Really? I've got an iPad4, wouldn't bother me at all if the 5 'lost the bezel'.
7.2mm is way to thin. Not going to happen with retina and decent battery life. I can see the 5 being thinner than the current iPad but 2.2mm thinner, is way past wishful thinking.
