So I want an iPhone5. The problem is that I am on my parents family data plan and I have unlimited grandfathered data. When I went to look at my monthly data usage it stacks up like this.

According to Verizon's Website:
(my line)
November - 574.72 mb
October - 1.710 GB
September - 1.38 GB
August - .520 GB
July - 1.170 GB
June - 1.0GB ( I think that number was rounded??)

Total : 6.44422 GB!

Now when I go to my usage on my phone under general settings it says that from May 3rd 2012 ( my last reset) I have used

Cellular network Data

sent 226 mb
received 3.7GB

What is going on? Which one is the correct number? Is verizon trying to screw me by forcing me to pay for more data monthly than I actually need?

Thanks!
-Mike
