Moving apps

Is it okay to move apps which are downloaded and installed from MAS to subfolder in Applications folder.

Applications:Appname.app > Applications:Appname:Appname.app
 
You can do that and the app will run fine, but I think you are going to have trouble the next time an update for that app comes out. The app store is going to want to install the update in the /Applications folder.
