Hi all,
My first post!

I have a brand new mac mini with a newly downloaded iTunes 11.
I am running an external 1TB USB harddrive with approx. 93 thousand songs.

My issue as of late (seems since the itunes 11 download) I have intermittent periods of slow deleting of songs or albums. One minute, the songs delete fine. 30 minutes later, it will take 3-4 minutes to delete one song.

I have gone into system preferences and unchecked the energy saver put external hard drives asleep when possible button.

Not sure where else to turn.... Its been a real pain in the rear end!!
thanks for the help

Stupid me!!
Just realized that its not a external hd issue at all.
All my tunes are on my mac mini HD.

Still cant figure out why its at times (most times) i get the spinning color ball of death when i am deleting either single songs or whole cd's from my itunes library. Could take upto 2 minutes for 1 song. very frustrating and never had an issue with previous itunes 1o.

Any help would be appreciated!!
