WWDC worth it if you're not a developer?

Dare I ask if the Worldwide Developers Conference is worth going to if you aren't a developer? I'm an avid Apple fan and I was just wondering if there would be any merit in going as a fanboy. I imagine it could be fun to do other things while I'm in the San Francisco bay area too, which last time I went was gorgeous but I didn't have time to really explore.

If you can afford to throw down that kind of money on a ticket without thinking twice, then sure. Otherwise, think twice.

If you can afford the admission fee of 1600 USD, then it might be fun to do so, especially for the keynote and other symposions.
