Hi, Using redsnow, I restored iOS 6.0.1 and jailbreak and unlock the iPhone 3GS. Everything went success. However, it keep losing carrier signal and wifi. This is happening every other 2/3 minutes. What's the problem?

baseband

What did you use to unlock it on iOS6.
If you used Ultrasn0w, it has not been properly updated for iOS6, so that is why you are having poor performance.

I mean I updated iOS 5.0.1, I used ultrasn0w to unlock. I used redsn0w to jailbreak.

So I don't know how to see which BB, but it's iOS 5.0.1

That is your firmware

Settings/General/About/Modem Firmware = your baseband

I would pursue an IMEI unlock from carrier who sold the phone or grey market vendor
