I need it for my iPad Mini. Is Pages compatible with Word?

My school mostly use Microsoft Word and Powerpoint. Is there any app have 2 in 1 function?

Quickoffice HD is pretty good. I've been using it on an iPad 1 for about 2 1/2 years. They've added quite a few features over that time, most recently the ability to comment and track changes in Word docs.

The only downside is that the autosave feature frequently fails, especially on doc longer than a few pages. That might be due to the iPad 1's limited RAM, but I'm not certain because I'm autosaving to the cloud.

Technically the file formats are compatible. Anything beyond the most basic formatting will cause it to break though.

I've tried every office suite in the app store over the years. The only one that manages to retain 99% of the formatting is DocsToGo. The downside is that the app is cumbersome, but it's worth the trade-off for compatibility IMO.
