Mac Wifi > Windows Phone?

hi, I have a mac pro with airport extreme etc... and a windows phone (not my phone of my sister haha) but dont show the internet connection, why? I need configure something in the airport extreme? or? any help please! the goal is connect the phone to internet via wifi, thanks

One is the Wi-Fi running the 5 GHz or the 2.4 GHz range? If the Wi-Fi using some kind of encryption? Does the windows phone only do the 2.4 range of the 5GHz range?
