Having a ton of software issues with ATV3

I'm not sure if my ATV3is corrupted or what but I have been having many issues. I will list in order of annoyance.

1.Cannot purchase from itunes. The cog spins, and then says connection has timed out.

2.Cannot stream HULU. I can see every show and click to watch episode, but then it times out.

3.Cannot update ATV software. I have attempted to restore, and upgrade to latest version, but it just times out.

Is their anyway to manually install new software, or should I make a genious bar appointment?😡

Hook it up to a computer via a USB to mini USB cable and try restoring via iTunes.

And if that doesn't work...I would take it to the Genius Bar.🙁
