Hi

This question relates to another which I'll probably ask later at some point.

I want to setup a Mac Mini server with a attached USB drive(s)

Using File Sharing is it possible ML Server allows the share of folders on a USB disk?

Wondering if the server reboots do the shares appear or are they not persistent when an attached disk is being used?

Thanks

RE shares...

Hi vito,

Yes, you can share any volumes mounted on the Mac mini server using ML Server, and they will reappear after server reboots. Depending upon how your client machine is sharing (which protocol), while the Mac mini is rebooting the shared disks obviously will not be available, but once the Mac mini has rebooted the shares become available again to the client without the client having to do anything.

Hope this helps,
Switon
