How would anyone here know if you can activate data on an iPad if you have an outstanding bill? If, for example, you have a Verizon bill that is overdue, but an AT&T iPad? Of course you can get the data plan. Last edited: Jan 15, 2013

xenaki macrumors member Jan 15, 2013 #7 Yes. You will be able to sign up for an iPad data plan even if you owe them money.
H harcosparky macrumors 68020 Jan 15, 2013 #8 Pay your bill. Why should a company extend more credit to you, when you have demonstrated an inability to cover the debt already extended. If you cannot afford the current bill, you really should not try to take on more. ---------- xenaki said: Yes. You will be able to sign up for an iPad data plan even if you owe them money. Click to expand... Depends on how much he owes. If he owes so much that they suspended his cell phone service .... probably NOT !!!!
