I bought a used imac 20" 2007 version - what windows will work best on this machine?

I need to have windows run on the following machine
Apple iMac 20" Desktop - MA876LL/A Aug. 2007
The machine has been upgraded to have 3 gb of memory and has lion installed

Please advise what version of windows will run best on this machine.

Certainly you can assume what will work best, but you should try and install them and see which will preform best

probably xp looking at the hardware, however 7 should run as its not to bad on older hardware, leave vista well alone
