Need app to override Accessory Connected to push other music

Hi all,

I'm using an iPhone 5, connected via USB to a BMW factory car stereo. I can control the artist/album/song selection via the BMW navigation interface, and I'm fine with that.

The problem I'm having is that other music/streaming apps like Live365 can't override the internal iPod feature of the iPhone. When I launch a music app, it loads and plays audio for about 1 second before my iPod music overrides and automatically starts playing through the speakers.

My phone is not jailbroken, and I will pay any reasonable amount for an app that will allow me to push audio out of my iPhone.

I really appreciate any suggestions.

I have Bluetooth, but that is not an option. I prefer the charging capabilities and better sound quality via the USB connection.
