OS X Will Portal 1 work on my Macbook Pro 2011 baseline version?

I'm new to the forum, and I'm not the biggest computer guy. I've been wanting to play Portal, starting with the first one. So, the title is pretty self explanatory. Can I play Portal 1? I'm pretty confident that my Macbook is baseline and is a late 2011 model. Thanks! 🙂

Processor: 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB
Software: Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63)

Yes, easily. Portal 2 should be fine on medium settings as well.

Not a surprise, the 9400 is a very old card.

I used to run Portal 1 on my 2008 MBA. It wasn't swift or as smooth as current models but it did work and was quite enjoyable.

On my 2011 MBA I run Portal 1 and Portal 2 at full high settings and I have not seen any lag or issues with the game (other than the battery almost runs flat while you watch!!!! 😱)

If you are not after full HD res graphics and a I'm-actually-in-the-game experience then you can run a lot more than most people give these laptops credit for.
