What's the easiest way to control my Mac with iPad ?

Hi!
I have a snow leopard mac connected to my TV as an HTPC, what's the easiest and most recommended app to use my iPad mini as a remote control ?

I'm not interested in VNC-like apps just because it doesn't sound comfortable at all...
