1, this is an iOS forum and not an Android one ;-)

2, nevertheless, my quick notes:

- DTS audio / ASS subtitle / TS (DVB) container support could be implemented

- any way to use hardware decoding for H.264 streams in MKV containers? Currently, it's only hardware-playable MKV files (that is, ones with Vorbis video / audio) are played back in hardware; the much more common H.264 ones aren't.

Yup, it is far superior to MoboPlayer:

- it has EXCELLENT SSA support

- has no problems with M-JPEG camera AVI videos

- has full(!) support for DVB-T TS files - even full subtitle support, in addition to audio track swithicng support

- supports hardware decoding with more files than MoboPlayer (but not MKV + H.264 files, unfortunately)

- has fast forwarding / rewinding gestures

And a minus: it doesn't have DTS support either.
