HI team wonder if you would be so good as to give feedback on this issue.

A 2008 Unibody white macbook.
no inverter powers direct of logic board via lvds cable.

now screen smashed so ordered a screen off ebay for this model noted that model number differs a bit on back of new lcd.

Anyway the result is the macbook lcd backlight does not come on. Can see if torch on it.

Replaced the lvcd cable and it does the same.
Now no inverter on this model.

Question
do you think its just a wrong lcd model. or could there be something else?

There was no white Unibody MacBook in 2008, it was released in late 2009.
