Hello,

I would like to change functions of volume buttons. I would like to skip to next song with volume button plus and skip to previous song with volume button minus when ipod is in sleep mode, because double tap on play/pause button is not comfortable for me.

Cant do it. Apple has been using the double tap and triple tap for a few years now on headphones. Just get used to it.
