Possible to share PDF's with Home Sharing?

I've added pdf's to itunes but they don't show up in iBooks on my iPhone 5.

Should do, I have two PDFs in iBooks on my 3GS via iTunes. Not wishing to teach you to suck eggs, but if you open iBooks and have three buttons along the top: Edit, Books and Store, tap Books and you should get a "Collections" page. If PDFs are in the list, then tap on it.
