Create an address book group from a list of emails

Hi everyone,

I'm not sure what the etiquette for first posts is around here, but please indulge me a question on my first go 🙂

I have roughly 9000 cards in my address book. I have a list of 400 email addresses, and I'd like to create a (smart?) group containing any existing cards that correspond to these email addresses - any pointers?

Hopefully the above is clear - I thought it'd be a cinch, but it's surprisingly problematic

What kind of list? A list on paper or a list in a file of some kind. Perhaps these links might get you started.

Look at post #5 of the first link. The other link uses a comma separated value (.csv) file.
