New Google "call" button in search results for business listings unresponsive?

Once again, Google has reformatted their site for absolutely no reason, making it less functional than the last version.

The listings for businesses now have "call" button in light blue and takes multiple clicks to activate it. Very annoying.

Also, why is the number now displayed? It used to be call
