Sometimes I have to crank the volume all the way up to hear a movie. I have to be real careful to turn it down after the movie finishes so i don't blow my speakers. Is there a way to fix low volume issues?

do you have a 5.1 surround or stereo sound sytem.

if it's only stereo have you turned off the dolby digital option.

where did you get the movies?
do you have an example of which ones are loud and which ones aren't?

IF the movie (or song or TV show for that matter) resides in your iTunes collection you can right click on it, select 'Get Info.' then click on the Options tab and slide the volume Adjustment to the right...

Good luck!
