I'm going to get a last rev powerbook, I thought I was going for a 15" but I'm still mulling over getting a 17" if a good one becomes available. By good I mean one that has the 128mb card and 1680 x 1050 (or whatever the exact res is) and the 7200rpm BTO drive.
I may end up getting the 1440 x 960 15" last rev powerbook in the end.
I believe that the battery life was improved in these last rev powerbooks.
My question is... Comparing the 15" last rev powerbook with a 5400rpm drive with a 17" powerbook with a 7200rpm drive, is there much difference in how long the batteries last under similar usage? I suppose that the 17" display will use more power but I don't know if it has a better/bigger capacity battery or not.
Also does the 7200 BTO drives use a lot more power or negligibly more power than the 5400 drives.
