Is it possible to pair a PS3 controller with a MacBook? If so, could I use it with emulators as a controller?

When I called Sony about pairing my controller, the rep said it might brick the controller. What do you guys think?

For about $10, you can (or at least used to be able to) get a PSX-to-USB adaptor at Radio Shack. You can plug any PS1 or (I assume) PS2 controller into it. Works great with emus.

You'd have to have the appropriate drivers, and I do not believe that there are drivers to use the controller yet, if there ever will be.

I believe there are Wii controller drivers and there are certainly 360 controller drivers out there. If you've got spare ones lying around that is.
