If they want to make a profit, they'll have to keep the price where it is, or drop it to no lower than $0.90 cents or so. Approximately $0.65 goes to the record company, doesn't it? Then Apple has to pay for its own expenses.
Maybe $0.79 should just be the sale/clearance price, if "clearance" for a virtual store selling intangible song files makes any sense, whatsoever.
