Mac Mini:

2.1

2.4

The mini could get a 2.1 only option, with super drive, RAM, and HD separating the models.

iMac:

2.1, 2.5, 2.8

If apple wants to make it smacked up against each other like the MBP which i think is ridiculous, then its 2.4, 2.6, and 2.8

But right now, its hard, there is this huge gap between 2.1 and 2.4, so most of the decision making process will be 2.4-2.8.

I know they're going to, but it's ridiculous that Apple still has combo drives in the low-end models.

I don't think we'll see a 2.4 Ghz mini, for the same reason: product line differentiation.

Mini Would probably be 2.1 and 2.4 and the iMac being 2.1 (low-end 20") 2.5(high-end 20/24") 2.8 (Very high end 24")

Exactly what I've said.

I know they're going to, but it's ridiculous that Apple still has combo drives in the low-end models.

Yeah, thats why I suggested one 2.1ghz model, and differiented my drive, HD, and RAM, though I agree, everything should be superdrive now.

And if you think about it, the MacBook and MacBook Pro are very similar, why can't the mini?
