Ok, I have a PowerBook that has a broken hinge on it. Other than that, it is in prime condition and has been a wonderful computer for me. I looked it up and Apple says they can't fix it, but I am pretty sure that I can get a hold of a hinge. My question is if it is worth it...as I am well aware of the wires running through the hinges and if one breaks then the screen is shot. What do you guys think? Is it possible to replace without messing up the wires?
