how to brighten up my video

Hi.... i would like to know that i have cptured few vids from my camera....
is there any way through whch i can brighten the picture up as its a bit dark....thanks

In iMovie - hover over the thumbnail and you'll see a sun icon. Click it and it brings up the adjustments panel.
