Hi,

I made this film, you can view it here on YouTube using some free footage I found on the web. All legal!

When I needed to make a short film, and was stuck for time and camera usage I did a little digging on Google and found this great site!

http://www.archive.org/details/prelinger

There are literally HUNDREDS of free to use, out of copyright clips on the site, mostly from the US. Educational films, documentaries and old clips. The footage when downloaded is really great quality. With a little creativity you can make some really interesting stuff, it's amazing, and free. Not to things that you hear too many time in the same sentance.

Check it out if you get a moment!

Andy.

A little assistance...

Hey Andy!

I have been trying to download some of the Western footage they have on that site and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do it. I work on a Mac so I tried to control-click the links to direct the workflow, but it won't let me. How did you get the footage off the site? If you could help in anyway, I would greatly appreciate it!
