multi monitor wallpaper

i have got a ibook here with the "patch" and i wanted to know how do i use multi monitor wallpaper and how can i make that neat wide look

Just arange the monitors in the control panel so they are side by side. Then create or find an image that will be the correct width. Then cut the image in half and put each part as a desktop picture on each monitor.

Is it possible to hook up 2 20" cinemas to a powerbook 1ghz DVI?

I have 1 hooked up via the apple DVI converter.. is there another product I can buy to get a second 20" added by using the s-video port?

I can't see how, you need a PowerMac with a dual card to run 2 x external displays, afaik a powerbook can only run it's own display + one external.

Well, it has cardbus, and now you can buy 32mb vidcards that will fit into there, can't you put a screen onto that?

With this you can connect a second display to your powerbook! Unfortunately you can only pput one of these in your powerbook, would be cool to put another display on it 😀

Dude. Thats frickin insane!

Awesome... It took me a few reads to understand what I am reading but that is exactly what I was looking for.

1 display on the dvi port using the ADC->DVI connector A second on the card slot using the VTBook and a second ADC->DVI connector

And all this with my powerbook closed on my keyboard drawer under the desk.

2 20" displays here I come 🙂 Once I find 2 grand burning a hole in my pocket 🙂
