iPod touch Ipod Touch 2G Work With Apple iPod Hifi or iHome

You can still play music normally with a Touch 2G but the iPod does not charge with an iPod HIFI (??)

i can definitely confirm that the iHome iH9 charges the 2nd Generation iPod Touch, as I use both everyday. Not sure about the iPod Hi-FI though...

So far I haven't noticed any noise coming from mine...and i have the same iH9 and 2nd Gen iPod Touch. I'll have to mess around with it and see if I start hearing any buzzing.
