iPod I am unable to edit (delete or add) music to my ipod.

I just got a new ipod nano.

I bought new songs, but in order to add them to my ipod I had to sync it. I couldn't simply drag the song to my ipod.

Also it won't allow me to delete music from my ipod.

All my playlists are shaded and I cannot edit them.

Please help.

You have to change the settings to manually update your iPod rather then automatically. Once you do that you can add single songs that you want and delete any songs youd like off of your iPod.
