Recovering deleted file from External HDD...???

Hey Guys,

I accidentally deleted a file from my iPod (used as an external hard drive) while it was connected to the laptop.

It's not in Trash, can I still recover it ?

You can try this application: http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec

It does many diffferent document formats and is not just for photos. It is a command line app, but don't let that scare you - it's easy to use.

PhotoRec and TestDisk are good, and free.

Data Rescue 2 is also good.
