Stop Safari opening small windows

Whenever Safari opens a new window wether it be a link or application link it always opens a really small window. If i resize the window and try again it reverts to the small window.

Any help?

Resize the window, and quit immediately. Do nothing else before you quit. It should stay at whatever size you resized it to.
