Hotmail on iphone dislaying all messages as "unread"

Hi everyone.

I just got my iPhone 3GS, and it works beautifull except from mail. It displays all my e-mails as unread - eventhough i have allready read them on my computer. (it's pretty anoing always having 50 unread e-mails displayed)

Also... When i delete an e-mail on the phone, it's still there, when I open up hotmail on my computer. So it seems it can only manage to receive and send emails - not sync in any other way with my hotmail account.

Any ideas on how to fix this wil be greatly appreciated.

There's no way to fix it. Hotmail is not IMAP, like Yahoo and some of the other email accounts.

Agreed, that is just what POP email does.

Wow... That really sucks! But then again... I guess i could just delete all the messages from my phone, and they would still be on my computer... Right?

Advanced Settings

I'm having the same issue.

What about changing the Advanced Settings?

There is the Deleted Messages option:
Never
After one day
After one week
After one month

Will that change anything?
