hello , please help me

i have a small silver ipod shuffle 2nd generation

i was listening to music with it yesterday and it was fine

suddenly i saw the red light blinking and i put it on the connector all the night to charge

but today at morning when i woke up i removed it from the cable and played it
and it worked for 5 seconds and it turned off

and now !! when i connect it to the computer it gives me" usb is not recognized"

and whenever i connect it with the cable it blink forst a green light followed by orange light three time then it the message shows up in the computer that the usb is not recognized

i tried to put it to charge but no use =(


what should i do

by the way i installed the latest itunes and i have the reset utility program and ipod updater but all pf them are not working and it

please help me

Was your computer on all night while charging? If not then it likely didn't charge. As for the USB not being recognized, did you try to restart your computer then try that USB as well as another? It sounds basic but it could be that simple.

i just turn on the power from the back and the usb charges my ipod

i tried to restart and i tried it with allot of computers now they all say

usb not recognized
