Hi Everyone,

I am a UK resident and had got a IPhone 3GS locked to AT&T(US).

I am in the process of Jailbrake & Unlock the Iphone.

I restored the iphone with custom firmware...after the restart phone is asking for a sim to activate.

I don't have AT&T sim to activate

Please let me know if there is any hack avaliable to ACTIVATE IPHONE 3GS WITHOUT SIM.

Thanks

It's called hacktivation, and it is done as part of the creation of the custom firmware. It sounds like the custom firmware you used was an unactivated one.

pawnage tool works if u are lucky and have a old bootloader (5.08), but if u have a newer bootloader and have updated to 3.1.3 then u are out of luck. U need a At&T sim (working or not) to activate it through itunes. and once activated u can use Spirit to jailbreak.
