Hey all,

This whole Youtube buffering thing is getting really frustrating...

I ran connection tests on speedtest.net and I get 10Mbits...

1080p Apple trailers fully load almost instantly...

I'm using Safari in 32-bit mode on 10.6.3 27'' Imac 3.06

I literally looked everywhere on the net and haven't found a resolution.

Has anyone found a fix for slow flash video buffering?

I have the same issue with many youtube videos. Buffering................ It's not you, nor OSX, nor your connection, it's youtube.

720p Youtube videos work fine usually on my MBP.(Although last night they weren’t buffering great on my 10mb connection)

But with 1080p it doesn’t buffer too great and the video playback itself stutters and freezes and the audio continues. 30 seconds in the video plays okay. The stuttering in the beginning is alloying, though. I usually always just click 720p. I know it’s not my Mac because, like you said, 1080p iTunes trailers play great.

I suppose it’s all Youtube’s fault.

I'm having the same problem. Have been for a couple weeks now. No luck in finding any legit info.

It's not just YouTube. It's all video sites (Vimeo, etc).

I'm fixed!!

I took my MacBook Pro to the Apple store Genius Bar. They couldn't figure out the problem right there so I left it with them. They ended up replacing the Airport card (?) and everything's back to normal. Yay! (except it was $180.oo but such is life).
